Dr. Megha Agarwal is a consultant psychiatrist having an experience of 7 years in this field, She pursued her MBBS from M.U.H.S. Nashik, Maharashtra. She did her M.D. in Psychiatry from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner. During her post-graduation she attended and presented paper in both national and international conference. She actively participated in various academic activities.
After completing her M.D. Psychiatry, she worked as a senior resident in Dept. of Psychiatry at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. During this period, she attained expertise in all fields of psychiatry like Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Community Psychiatry and Consultant Liason (dealing with mental health problems in patients admitted in other departments for physical problems)
Her areas of interest include child and adolescent psychiatry, De-addiction psychiatry and women’s mental health.
She is a member of Indian Psychiatric Society and Delhi Psychiatric Society.
She is a very compassionate and empathetic doctor. She has a very calm & flexible approach towards managing mental health problems. She discusses the clinical diagnosis in a patient friendly manner is repeated twice and treats them with utmost care. She is highly respected by her patients for her dedication towards her work.
